Since 2010, Visible has researched socially engaged art projects through the collaboration of a transnational, intergenerational, gender and racially diverse advisory boards of practitioners and collaborators. Here you find the over 250 hundred art projects in our network.
All over the world, with very different approaches and languages, artists are making radical choices, engaging with certain fields that are often marginal in relation to the discourse produced around the established field of contemporary art. Visible was born to showcase the vast amount of case studies and the impact that these are having in redefining the role of art in society in a globalized scenario. Calling to action curators, institutions, thinkers, and citizens Visible uncovers the potential triggered by these artistic endeavours and processes.
